Every business on B6AI Connect sets its own cancellation terms. This page explains how those terms work, so that what you see at checkout makes sense.
How the terms are written
A business's terms are a short list of steps, each saying how much comes back if you cancel at least a certain number of hours before your booking. For example:
- 100% back if you cancel at least 24 hours before
- 50% back if you cancel at least 4 hours before
- nothing after that
You always get the best step you qualify for. If you cancel 30 hours ahead in the example above, you get 100% back; 10 hours ahead, 50%; 2 hours ahead, nothing. Some businesses are non-refundable, and say so before you pay.
Which terms apply
The terms shown when you booked are the ones that apply to your booking, and they are kept with it. If the business changes its terms later, your booking is not affected.
Where to see them
The terms are shown at checkout, before you pay, and on your booking's page afterwards. When you cancel, the amount that will come back is shown before you confirm.
If the business cancels
If the business cancels your booking or declines it, you get back everything you paid, regardless of its terms.
Not turning up
If you do not turn up and do not cancel, the booking is treated as used and nothing comes back. Please cancel if you cannot make it — the time can then go to someone else.
Moving a booking
Instead of cancelling you can often move a booking to another time, from My bookings, up until the business's minimum notice. The reference stays the same and your reminders move with it.
See the Refund Policy for how and when refunds are paid.
